On September 18, 2010 Greenergy Productions, LLC will kick off one of the most talked about Reggae festivals on the East Coast – Hudson Valley Reggae Fest (ECO & World Music). This important social aweness concert event will be hosted by  Honor’s Haven Resort & Spa which occupies 250 pristine acres in Ellenville, NY, in the beautiful Catskill Mountains. We are also proud to announce Riverkeeper as a sponsor, having just launched their Don’t Frack With NY Water! campaign, concerning the safety of New York’s water supply.

Performers are:

Mutaburaka - Jamaica’s number one Dub Poet.

Soul Shot - New England’s premier reggae, ska, and rocksteady band and known for its many gigs in the U.S. and Jamaica with legendary singer/songwriter/guitarist Ernie Smith, as well as work with Dalton “Screwdriver” Lindo.

Delexilo - The musical project of David Sandoval, a young musician born into the world of Cuban exiles, living life to a Cuban rhythm in the heart of the New York urban scene.

Bonga and the Vodou Drums of Haiti - Gaston Jean-Baptiste, known, as “Bonga” is a musical virtuoso who is regarded as a master of the Afro-Haitian drum with an extensive repertoire of pan-African rhythms.

Living Truth – International Reggae artist.

One World Tribe – A Musical Feast whose sensibilities delight even the most exotic taste, they are an Afro-Beat, Funk, Latin and World Beat Orchestra with a myriad of musicians, dancers and extras.

Freedom - International Hiphop artist from Haiti.

Kofi Donkor and Sankofa - Master African Drummer alongside his ensemble Sankofa.

Randy Niles - Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Randy has been compared to and described as “A hybrid between Bret Dennen and John Mayer.”

Hakum - From the theological to the secular, from the world of academia to the hood… you can expect a blunt and honest expression of the mind of this Land And Water recording artist.

Gigi and the Lend Me a Hand Band – An inter-generational music troupe dedicated to bringing joy to young audiences through musical merriment, theater and literature.

Andru Anthony - Reggae artist with messages of protest, love and social issues.

Entertainment by DJ Harry T, salsas spin doctor and reggae DJ Sir Walford Sibbles.  Volunteers and vendors are encouraged. Volunteer Benefits include day pass to the event, meals and after party access.

Tickets are $30 for a day pass and $60 for a day pass + after party access.
